Indian Head Massage is an Ayurvedic massage therapy in which the upper-back, arms, head, neck and face are massaged with or without the use of oils using a range of massage techniques.

Indian Head Massage, also known as champissage, is a treatment that focuses on massaging acupressure points along the head, neck, and shoulders, often using circular massage strokes to improve hair and scalp condition.

Indian Head Massage stimulates blood flow, lymph and oxygen in the upper body, and may relieve sinusitis, relieve stress and help you sleep better.  And because it is said to help alleviate headaches (even migraine), eye strain and anxiety, Indian Head Massage can help you to concentrate better at work.

Indian Head Massage is an ancient complementary therapy, based on the Ayurvedic system of healing that has been practiced in India over for over a thousand years. This gentle form of massage therapy is part of Indian family life.

The Course Teaches:

This course teaches the ancient art of Indian Head Massage techniques which uses a variety of different massage movements as well as learning about the balancing and channeling of chakras.

This convenient treatment can be carried out on low backed chairs so ideal for mobile therapist’s delivering treatments at home or in the workplace.

The objective of this course is that by the end of it you are able to perform a professional treatment in a safe and hygienic manner in a commercially acceptable time, along with gaining experience of carrying out a consultation with the knowledge of the background, benefits, contra-indications, contra-actions, aftercare, equipment and products needed.
