Any participant considered by the facilitators to be under the influence of mind-altering substances (e.g. illegal drugs, alcohol) will be asked to leave the class immediately and not to return. No refunds will be given.
Any participant deemed by the facilitators to be repetitively disruptive to the flow of the class, other students or instructors will be asked to leave the class immediately and not return. No refunds will be given.
Participation in this course does not authorize you to teach any part of it to any other person.
KCR Academy Ltd and Kinetic Chain Release Limited, including any director or employee of KCR Academy Ltd and Kinetic Chain Release Limited is not responsible for any personal injury sustained during the KCR course. Each person has the right to say STOP at any time.
It is your responsibility to inform us of any relevant medical condition(s) that may affect your ability to participate and enjoy all parts of this course.
This is not a treatment session, it is a training course in techniques.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ATTENDANCE
All course reservations are secured by placing a non-refundable deposit with us. Your reservation will be held and your balance must be paid 7 days before the begin date of the course.
If it turns out that you are unable to attend your chosen course, please contact us as soon as possible to arrange an alternate course date for you. If it is greater than 7 days before the course start date we will transfer you to the next available course. If it is within 7 days of the course start date you will forfeit all fees. Exceptions to this may be made case-by-case only at our discretion.
If an attendee displays symptoms of a contagious illness (e.g. COVID-19) we request that you inform us as soon as possible with a valid physician’s excuse; we will transfer you to the next available course (one-time only).
Should it become necessary for KCR Academy Ltd. to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances, we will refund all fees that have been paid to us for that course. Otherwise, please note that deposits are non-refundable in all instances. Also, we cannot be held responsible for any personal expenses (e.g. travel/accommodation costs) resulting from a course cancellation.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY
Dear Participant,
You are required to thoroughly read through and sign this waiver of liability. Purchasing this course confirms your understanding of any potential risk involved with your participation in this course, and acknowledges that you take full responsibility for your own physical and emotional well-being.
The KCR Academy courses are designed to teach you the protocol of KCR and other techniques, including a basic understanding of the premise behind each mobilisation or technique. While not intended as treatment sessions per se, you will have these mobilisations and/or techniques performed on you by other students in the class. You remain in control of what happens to your own body at all times, and can say “stop” if at any time you should find it necessary, so that whoever is working on you will do so immediately.
Conversely, this equally applies if you are working on someone and they say “stop”, you will remove your hands immediately.
We require that everyone in attendance practices ONLY mobilisations and techniques that are being taught in this particular course. This is to ensure that all Instructors, Assistant Instructors, and Classroom Assistants are completely synchronized with all methods being utilized in class. It is your responsibility to adhere to this requirement as both a provider and recipient, so that you and your fellow students do not perform any other protocols, techniques or modalities on anyone during this course.
It is also your responsibility to inform us of any medical condition(s) that may prevent you from having a particular mobilisation or technique performed on you during a class session. If you are pregnant, please inform the Class Instructor prior to the start of the class.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I acknowledge that I have voluntarily applied to participate in this KCR Academy course, referred to below as “this Event”. In consideration of KCR Academy Ltd. allowing me to participate in this event, I agree to this release of claims, waiver of liability and assumption of risk.
On behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, successors, administers and any other person who may have an interest at common law or by operation of statute, I hereby waive any and all claims I or such parties may have now or in the future. I release from liability KCR Academy Ltd and Kinetic Chain Release Limited (including Jane Wardlaw, her co-facilitators, assistants, and any employee, guide, agent or representative – "the releasees") for any personal injury, death, property damage or loss of any nature suffered by me as a result of my participation in any activity related to this event. I release from liability KCR Academy Ltd and Kinetic Chain Release Limited for any cause whatsoever including those arising out of, or in any way connected to or occasioned by the negligence of the releasees.
**MODEL RELEASE ** Occasionally at various of our KCR Academy events we may record photos and/or videos, with the primary goal being education. We are sensitive about the privacy of others, and we are very mindful to only ever use recordings that are respectful and in good taste. With that in mind, participant (you) grants permission to KCR Academy Ltd and Kinetic Chain Release Limited and its assigns, licensees, and sublicensees, permission to use participant's image or likeness in any and all forms of media for educational and promotional purposes, along with other uses deemed worthwhile. Therefore, KCR Academy Ltd and Kinetic Chain Release Limited may use participant's likeness and image on the KCR Academy or Kinetic Chain Release website and/or other advertising and media platforms.
